Leon I. Edelson has over 24 years of legal experience in intellectual property law. He offers practical advice to solve the legal issues impacting the rights and business efforts of his clients. With a background in science, he has both the practical and legal experience to effectively handle even the most complex intellectual property claims.
Mr. Edelson holds an LLM degree with High Honors in Intellectual Property from the John Marshall Law School. He received his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as the Articles Editor on the Legal Ethics Journal. He holds a Computer Science Certificate from DePaul University and B.A. in both Biology & Chemistry from Indiana University. He has served as the Chair of the Trade Secret Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) and as the Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association Intellectual Property Section Council.
